Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Mark worked as a social worker, gaining hands-on experience in both medical and mental health settings. This foundation gives him a unique perspective on patient care, allowing him to address mental health challenges in a holistic and compassionate way.
Mark works closely with each patient to understand their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide support throughout the journey to wellness. He has experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions.
Passionate about education and advocacy, Mark empowers his patients with knowledge, resources, and strategies to improve mental health, reduce stress, and build resilience. He believes that mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the individual, making every patient feel heard, supported, and understood.
Outside of his clinical work, Mark most enjoys spending time with his family, going to his sons' games, and learning about their interests. He also likes following sports, and, when time allows, working in the yard and playing golf which helps him stay balanced and energized. He believes that nurturing personal passions and self-care is an important part of overall wellness.
